Our story began in 2021 with a single spark of inspiration found in the rolling jasmine fields of Grasse, France. Immersed in the world’s perfume capital, we witnessed the meticulous dedication required to capture nature’s most elusive scents.
We returned to Britain with a vision: to marry the legendary expertise of Grasse with the uncompromising quality of British craftsmanship. Today, while our roots remain firmly planted in the heritage-rich city of York, our scent library travels across the country, bringing a touch of artisanal luxury to homes throughout the United Kingdom.

Our Heritage
Founded in 2021, Eboracum Candles was created to bridge the gap between historical legacy and modern olfactory art. Our name—EBORACUM—is a tribute to the Roman foundation of York, the city where our journey first took shape. While we are proud to call this historic northern capital our home, our horizons have always been nationwide.
The Grasse Inspiration
The soul of every Eboracum candle is born in Grasse, France. It was here, amidst the world-renowned distilleries and sun-drenched botanicals, that we mastered the alchemy of fragrance blending. By studying the traditional "nose" techniques of the French Riviera, we learned that a true luxury candle is not merely a product, but a narrative told through top, heart, and base notes.
